Melissa "Chaco" Hoose
Equine Program Manager


Melissa has been working as the Equine Program Manager at Keyauwee since May 2005. She grew up learning and riding with her horse Tuffy. During college Melissa instructed private, small group and large group riding lessons as well as directed Summer Day Camp at the Asbury College Equine Center. Melissa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation from Asbury College with an emphasis on Equine Management. Melissa is a certified CHA riding instructor and has been teaching kids and adults to ride for over 7 years.

Melissa manages the barn on a day-to-day basis and is the main instructor teaching private and small group lessons, leading troop riding programs and directing the summer horse camps at Circle C Ranch. Besides her passion for teaching others about horses, Melissa loves hiking, eating sushi, watching movies, and playing with her dog Maddy.


Stephanie Blaylock
Instructor


Stephanie has been riding and showing horses since she was a child. She competed in many disciplines including hunter pleasure, western pleasure, and dressage with her Arabian horses. She has previously been a seasonal Riding Director and Horse Consultant for Circle C Ranch. She has 20 years of riding and teaching experience and is a certified CHA riding instructor. She taught for 5 years as a NARHA Therapeutic riding instructor. She has two daughters that grew up riding and showing horses. She has also been a Girl Scout leader and was a coach of a local FFA horse judging team.

Stephanie currently teaches private lessons at Keyauwee and especially enjoys working with beginners sharing her love of horses. She is an equine artist and when she's not around the barn she is painting and drawing horses. She enjoys spending time with her family and all of her animals.
