Circle “C” Ranch offers riding lessons to anyone 9 years old and up. Even though Circle C Ranch is operated by the Girl Scouts, you need not be a girl or scout to participate.

Weekly lessons are 1-hour in length and consist of grooming and saddling, instruction in the arena, and an occasional trail ride. All lessons are taught by certified CHA riding instructors. Here at the Ranch, your safety is our top priority. We do every thing we can to provide a safe, fun, and educational experience. We focus on building a strong foundation of horsemanship that will lead to confidence on and off the horse.

We offer private and group lessons. Groups lessons are limited to 2 students who sign up together to ensure quality instruction.

Prices:
● Private Lessons: $32
● Group lessons: $18/student for registered Girl Scouts and Homeschoolers
$22/student for all others

Schedule:
Lessons are scheduled between the hours of 10:00am-7:15pm Tuesday - Friday. The fall semester runs mid-September through mid-December and the spring semester runs mid-January through mid-May.

**2008 Fall Semester Details**
Fall semester will start the second week of September and run for 13 weeks. No lessons the week of Thanksgiving.

• Boots with a smooth bottom and 1/4 - 1/2 inch heel. We have a variety of boots that you can borrow.
• Jeans or long pants.
• Helmets will be provided by Circle “C” Ranch if you do not have your own.

Payment:
Option 1: Payment for the first 2 lessons is due at your first lesson. At the second lesson payment is due for the third so students are always paid ahead one lesson.

Option 2: Lessons for the whole semester are paid in full at your first lesson. If lessons are paid in full at the start of the semester, the last lesson will be free.

Cancellations:
Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to a scheduled lesson. If a cancellation is less than 24 hour prior to the lesson, students will still be charged for the cost of the lesson. Cancellation due to weather is at the discretion of the Equine Program Director. Lessons cancelled by the Riding Direction will resume at the next regularly scheduled time. Conditions that may warrant a cancellation: heavy rain, severe winds, thunder and lightning storms, hazardous driving conditions.
