Program Descriptions

Beginner Level
This level is for first time riders or those with little riding experience (a couple of trail rides or lessons). Beginner level is also appropriate for those who feel comfortable steering and stopping at a walk and may have started trotting. If you ride only a couple of times a year, you’re probably a beginner.

Intermediate Level
This level is for riders who meet the above description plus are very comfortable steering and stopping at a trot. Intermediate riders should have a basic understanding of how to groom and tack a horse. Intermediate level is also suitable for riders who can control their horse at both a sitting and posting trot and have started cantering.

Questions?
If you have questions regarding the horse camps or the levels, please don’t hesitate to ask.
